Kabul: India on Tuesday gave throughout the second pair of Mi-24V helicopters to war-torn Afghanistan, boosting the ability of the Afghan powers. The helicopters were formally given over by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar to Afghanistan’s acting Defense Minister Asadullah Khalid at a service held at the military air terminal in Kabul.
“Vinay Kumar, Indian Ambassador gave over the second pair of Mi-24V helicopters to Afg MinDef Asadullah Khalid at a function today,” the Indian Embassy in Kabul tweeted.
These helicopters are a trade for the four assault helicopters recently talented by India to Afghanistan in 2015 and 2016.
The battle execution and hostile capability that the helicopters give will expand the adequacy and effectiveness of the Afghan Air Force (AAF) in guaranteeing that the ANDSF keep up a spry and strong Counter-Terrorism capacity.
Kumar praised the AAF on the Mi-24V enlistment and wished them achievement.
