INDIA HANDS OVER 2ND PAIR OF MI-24V HELICOPTERS TO AFGHAN FORCES

Kabul: India on Tuesday gave throughout the second pair of Mi-24V helicopters to war-torn Afghanistan, boosting the ability of the Afghan powers. The helicopters were formally given over by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar to Afghanistan’s acting Defense Minister Asadullah Khalid at a service held at the military air terminal in Kabul.

“Vinay Kumar, Indian Ambassador gave over the second pair of Mi-24V helicopters to Afg MinDef Asadullah Khalid at a function today,” the Indian Embassy in Kabul tweeted.

These helicopters are a trade for the four assault helicopters recently talented by India to Afghanistan in 2015 and 2016.
